The Law Student Council approved its constitution on 27 October and our very own VP Social, Laura Rankin (Year 4) was elected as chair.
The deputy chair is Valilena Hristova (Year 3) and the Secretary is Lindsay McAllister (Year 2). The aim of the Council is to change the way the School of Law engages with students. It is now an autonomous body, with its own agenda, and it will work in conjunction with staff on the development of learning and teaching within the School. The class reps for each year of study are the voting members of the Council, and the SRC and GULS are also represented.
Students with any issues they wish to put forward should contact Laura.
